Paint and Sip for Adults

In December, I hosted a highly successful adult Paint & Sip event featuring a seasonal “Welcome To Our Home” winter door sign design.

Each guest created their own 14” round door sign using pre-cut wood circles as the base. For the dimensional elements, I used 1/8” basswood, which was laser cut, painted, and then adhered to the round to create a layered, high-end finished look.

All wood components were prepared in advance using my Xtool M1 to ensure clean, precise cuts and consistent quality. The layered basswood details added depth and character, elevating the overall design while still allowing guests to personalize their pieces with paint colors and finishing touches.

The combination of structured design and creative freedom made the event both seamless to host and enjoyable for attendees. It was incredibly rewarding to see each participant leave with a custom winter door sign they were proud to display in their homes.

The December Paint & Sip was a tremendous success and further reinforced how impactful hands-on creative experiences can be when paired with a welcoming atmosphere and thoughtfully prepared materials.
