Paint and Eat for kids

I recently hosted a successful Paint and Eat event at a local bar and restaurant for children of all ages, and the turnout exceeded expectations. It was a wonderful experience seeing so many kids excited to create their own projects.

For the event, I designed four custom options for participants to choose from. Using my Xtool M1, I worked with 1/8” birch plywood, utilizing a score and cut process to achieve clean, detailed results. My settings included a score setting of 80 power / 60 speed with 1 pass, followed by a cut setting of 100 power, 16 speed, and 4 passes. The final pieces turned out beautifully and were perfectly suited for painting.

To enhance the creative experience, I provided a selection of paints sourced through Amazon, along with individual acrylic paint markers for each participant. The paint markers allowed the kids to outline and accent their borders, helping their designs stand out with added detail and personality.

Overall, the event was a great success, and it was incredibly rewarding to see the kids enjoying the process and proudly showcasing their finished pieces.
